Our commitment to fair and transparent refund terms for every engagement.

1. Overview
HIWAYTON LLC provides professional consulting, project management, and financial advisory services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which fees paid to HIWAYTON LLC may be refunded.
2. Initial Deposits & Retainers
For engagements requiring an upfront deposit or retainer, the deposit amount is specified in the signed Statement of Work (SOW) or Engagement Agreement. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, unless otherwise stated in writing.
3. Cancellation by Client
If the client cancels an engagement before any work has been performed, HIWAYTON LLC will refund any fees paid, minus reasonable administrative costs incurred up to the point of cancellation. Once deliverables have been prepared or services have been rendered, no refund will be issued for work already completed.
4. Cancellation by HIWAYTON LLC
In the unlikely event that HIWAYTON LLC must terminate an engagement for reasons beyond the client's control, a prorated refund will be provided for any prepaid, unearned fees.
5. Milestone-Based Payments
For engagements structured around milestones, each milestone payment is due upon acceptance of the associated deliverables. Milestone payments are non-refundable once the corresponding deliverable has been accepted by the client.
6. Third-Party Fees
Fees paid to third parties (e.g., government filing fees, certification bodies, or subcontractor costs) on behalf of the client are non-refundable once the payment has been disbursed.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes regarding fees or refunds shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution clause in the applicable Engagement Agreement.
